About the role

Want to work in an incredible Australian success story, creating international campaigns and press opportunities to deliver products loved by millions of musicians, filmmakers, podcasters and vloggers? We require a Communications Specialist to join our team. Someone in the early stages of their career, but with some experience in delivering cool publicity and brand opportunities, looking to flex their skills on an international stage. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, the Communications Specialist manages and implements the communication and PR aspects of brand, product and corporate campaigns.

This role will challenge you to rise above the ordinary

  • Help create and manage Communications strategies and executions, including engagement and follow-up with media, influencers and partners.
  • Supporting Public Relations and Marketing functions by completing all activities required for ground level campaigns (press-lists, sampling, coverage etc).
  • Assisting with all Communications collateral and copywriting – EDM writing, blog posts, press releases, etc.
  • Managing administration for the Communications team including the communications calendar, database management, reporting, invoicing, samples orders, tracking numbers.
  • Monitoring and recording online and print media from external sources.
  • Assisting with and co-producing internal and external events management.
  • Completing administration and tasks with a high-level of accuracy and within specified timeframes.

 

About you. The successful candidate will be required to have

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a publicity coordination and/or events role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the strategic and tactical elements of product and brand publicity campaigns.
  • Knowledge of full scale marketing campaigns and the associated PR, traditional and social media components.
  • Knowledge of areas of analysis and reporting on campaign outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, visual and written.
  • Ability to write and proof engaging copy along brand guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, follow instructions and deliver outcomes as expected and under deadlines. 
  • Understanding of, and willingness to learn, areas of analysis and reporting on campaign outcomes.
  • Understanding of internal stakeholder communications
  • Track record of executing a communications strategy to plan with results.
