The video comprised of a series of videos, timelapses and hyperlapses through Toronto.
To film the video, we used an Insta360 One X and occasionally a Mavic 2 Pro. The Insta360's flowstate stabilization enabled smother movements in video and hyperlapses that were not possible otherwise.
Sound was simultaneously recorded on a Rode Stereo Videomic X, which we attempted to blend in with the music and video. Unfortunately, we discovered that mixing sped up sound with hyperlapses didn't work well.
In the future we'd like to explore ambisonic tracking sound and better immersion in real time rather than hyperlapses and timelapses.
