I'm blown away by your after sales service and treatment of customers. I've dealt with a lot of companies and by far RØDE is the most impressive with the way that you look after your customers. Keep up the bloody good work guys.

The combo of iXY and RØDE Rec is far more formidable than a phone ‘accessory’ and an app should be. Not to mention it comes in a miniature moulded, zip-up case you can carabiner to your key chain. RØDE’s on a winner with these two.

I must say RØDE makes an excellent microphone, and has great customer support!

so when should you use the Go? - ALWAYS if you are filming on a budget or as a one-man-show. WHEN YOU HAVE TO BE FAST - while filming with a small crew videos for the web or documentaries where time is money and you have to be flexible.

Just finished importing it... I was also testing out the new RØDE VideoMic Pro and holy moley that thing is great, best in its class easily.

I have tested lots, and I mean LOTS, of iPhone audio accessories, Tascam, IKMultimedia, Fostex, etc. but I have never picked up a product and immediately went "Oh damn, this feels good". Not until the iXY.

Well-made onmidirectional microphones are supposed to sound pretty even, with no on- or offaxis frequency lobes. I spent some time moving around the capsule in search of beams, peaks and nulls but found no axial anomalies. The RØDE Reporter is a lightweight, but solid piece of gear.

@rodemicrophones NT5s are great! Using them for first time with choir. Exactly what I want them to be.
- @Bent6
The sound is much, much better with the VideoMic than with the standard microphone… There’s less environmental sound when recording voice; less reverb from the ‘room’, and less background noise. The voice itself is clear and crisp without being sibilant.

Great sound clarity, really nice dynamic range and no pops. If I want to record someone speaking and I don’t need stereo, the smartLav will give me all I need with an amazingly simple set-up.
